the class of 2012

So here's my lineup I all have about 90 percent done for the summer.  They all run like beasts just need a little odd and ends and cleanups

front to back
63 pan
68 bonnie
80 iron
75 RD200

panhead wolf makeover

So I toyed with the idea of going full on vintage legit with the panhead with a fender and a set of nutty fat bob tanks I grabbed off ebay..  Set it up  Hated it.  Going to have the tanks narrowed and joined up  because I love the paint..

so here's a laugh for you

ironhead done

This bitch of a bike is done for the season.  I'll clean it up in the winter, right now my wife and I take turns riding the shit out of it

1963 Panhead

So a friend called me up and told me about a guy with a few pans in the area.... the next day I had one

It came like this

I ended up selling the tins and front end back to the PO and walked away with this thing cheaper than most sportsters on Craigslist

This is how it sits at the moment, just waiting on a full sized bobtail fender

So the specs on this are as follows
-63 pan engine titled as an HD
(bottom end is s and s but in NY you were allowed to transfer original title to a new bottom end for a period of time and that's how it was done)
original 63 top end and tranny
-it sits in a 1958 swing arm frame
-16 in the rear with an MK2
-old paughco springer up front (2 under)
-21 spool
-old drag bars
-old gm spotlight
-burned sporty tank with repop pan emblems

Love this bike, foot clutch, four speed jockey shift, lots of balls
running a mallory right now looking to get a mag on it eventually

Iron head version 3

alright, so I needed to redo my Iron because I wanted to use some parts for other builds.  My wife is going to be using this for the rest of the season and I already have a buyer out in Brooklyn who wants it in october..

You can scroll down to see the various forms of this bike, but here is how it's going to end up I think

shitty cell shots but again it's just an update

Specs on this are-
1980 cases at least
internals are all a mix match of late 70s as is the wiring harness
new super e
biltwell seat
bird hardtail
pangea speed z's
factory 21 dual disc up front with an enduro tire
16 rear with an mk2
factory metal works alien tank
small little repop wassell fender
moon oil tank
lots of new updated bits like a whiskey throttle, new battery, top end rebuilt, new plug wires, grips, etc

Just needs to be rewired to get rid of the rat nest of the circuit board, not much room on the bird hardtails with an oil tank, battery and external filter

this bike runs like a little beast though, tuned pretty damn well and quick.

68 Bonnie Chop

Alright, so here is what became of my 68 Triumph build

Here's the laundry list on this bitch..
Bought from a friend who thought it just needed some "wiring"... Well we all know how that goes.  Got a mag, got it going and it caught fire and burned down my fucking garage. I'm not kidding.

Anyway.. I pushed on, ripped apart the bike, cleaned up the engine, new gaskets.. Along the way I
-rebuilt the kick quadrant
-new pushrods
-vintage king and queen
-vintage twisted sissy
-custom painted swazi tank by Jessie out in Cleveland
-Vintage AAE springer (6 over ish)
-old 21 chopstop mini drum up front with internals that I'm not using
-dual headlights
-joe hunt mag
-Harley 16 with converted triumph brake and sprocket
-new Avon Rubber (mk2 in the rear, speedmaster up front)
-clean and dialed mikuni VM32s with v stacks from an old VW bug
-new cables, fuel and oil lines, grips, ect
-redid the redid top end which is a 71 head 750 big bore kit
-new exhaust
-pre unit wheel tensioners and exhaust manifolds
-found out we have a geared for the short game engine, with a custom shift pattern (the original owner must have new his shit back in the day)

Anyway, it's a one kick little beast and I'm having fun on it.. More pics when I get some time to use a good camera.. Big thanks to Loffer from the Falls, Kevin out in New Paltz, vintage cycles, and Tony Dunn for parts and advice.

Game on

I've been busy going to post a few bikes I've been working on tonight, back on the blog

80 iron

quick intro to this guy, quick build here's the story
swapped an xs chop for this
a month later we have this post apoc attack digger
almost done, I'll get a detailed post with specs up here soon

63 panhead

newest project just aquired, 63 panhead in an older swingarm frame
original pan heads
s and s bottom
old harley trannie, jockey shift foot clutch
juice rear 16
linkert

here is how it looks now, it will change drastically in the next couple days
Front end is going, as are the tins, slamming the ass end and riding it out this season in the original frame
it will be going in this 68 rigid this winter

68 Bonnie part 1

alright here is the mighty frankenbonnie, also called the burn victim.
a good friend sold it to me pretty cheap and told me it was close to running
it looked like this
I did a bit of work to it and it ended up sort of looking like this
Up to the point I changed the seat, rear fender, tank, got some amal 932s and ripped out the electrical system for a hunt mag, it was running but rough... I then had it in my garage one day after a quick ride and it backfired after I shut it off burning some of the gas from the primer on the amals, it went up quick and took out the fuel line and the whole bike went up, it also took out my garage.   Now I have a nice sunroof and a lot of tarps as garage doors

Anyway I stripped the frame, cleaned up the engine, new gaskets all over, and had the pushrods changed because that was the rough running problem in the first place.
-new tank painted by jessie out of cleveland
-7 over springer for the AAE frame found by kevin out in New paltz
-vm32 mikunis off a BSA racer
-old king queen  from a fellow 33'er
-and a swap find chopper stopper 21 up front  and we have it looking like this
Specs are as I know
AAE frame
ness'ish 7 over swap springer
21 chopper stopper up front
narrow homemade straight Z's
70s king queen
70's twisted sissy
vm32s with VW v stacks off ebay
16 harley on the rear laced to a standard triumph axel/brake/ sprocket setup
68 t-120 bottom
aftermarket 71 big bore (750) top end
custom shift pattern and that trannie is definitely geared for the short game
13 plate clutch (stuffer plate added for some more oomph)

Just added a dual headlight , some non iphone pics coming up soon

First post motherfuckers!

ok, I have been building a bit too many bikes lately so i thought i'd do the blog thing as all the guys who are actually good at this seem to do.

I'm into choppers, star wars, guitars, skateboards, and death metal.  That's what you will be getting.
